Frequently Asked Questions

For Employers
How does it work for Employers?

Fill in Pro is where you will find professionals looking for short term work opportunities. As an employer on Fill in Pro you can create unlimited job listings and contact job seekers that are available when you need them. To use these services, employers must first sign up for a subscription plan. See our pricing plans to select a subscription and create a listing.
Once you create a job listing, we notify you when a jobseeker applies to your job, and when new job seekers sign up that match what you are looking for.
You can also search our list of job seekers by going to "Browse Job Seekers”. Search for job seekers in your area that are looking for work in your industry and view their profile, read reviews, and check their credentials. When you see a pro that seems like a good fit, you can invite them to apply to your job listing. They will be notified and will apply to your job if they are interested. Then you can communicate with the applicants directly on FillinPro.com to discuss the job details. You decide who you want to hire and confirm the job conditions.
After they work, you pay them directly for their services as you normally pay your hirees. Then you can leave a review for them on FIP and they will do the same.

What is a fill in job?

Fill in jobs are short term jobs, also known as: temporary, substitute, contract, floating, per diem, or locum tenens, among other names. When you need a professional to work for a defined period of time (it may be for a day, a couple weeks, a few months, etc.), this is what we call a "fill in" job.
Here are some situations where you may need to hire someone on a short term basis: You might need someone for a project that will only take a specific amount of time. Maybe one of your employees is going on vacation or taking leave and you need a professional to do their job while they are away. It could be your business requires more staff during busy periods, and you need to hire temporary pros to help out. Perhaps your company is expanding and you need to hire more professionals, but you want to "test them out" before committing to a long term hire.
You can also post full time and part time jobs (on-going jobs with no end date) on Fill in Pro, since many pros that are available for fill in jobs are also willing to take a long term position if they feel it is a good fit.

What subscription plan options do I have?

When you sign up as an employer on FillinPro.com, you can choose one of our paid subscription plans or the free “Discovery” plan. The Discovery plan allows you to create unlimited listings and invite pros to apply to your jobs, but you are not able to access the applicants until you upgrade to a paid subscription.
In order to access your applicants and communicate with them, you need to select either the “Basic” plan or the “Pro” plan. The Basic plan allows you to access up to 5 applicants per month. This may be enough if you typically only need one job filled a month or less. The Pro plan gives you unlimited access to all the applicants that apply to your jobs. This is the plan for you if you need to hire for more than one position each month.

What if I need to cancel a job listing?

We understand, things happen. You can cancel a job any time. You can also edit or delete a job post at any time.

Can I create a listing without a subscription?

Sure! Just register as an employer and choose the free “Discovery” plan. You will be able to post as many jobs as you want, but you won’t be able to access the applicants info or communicate with them. When you are ready to upgrade, you can select among our Basic and Pro plans to be able to access the applicants.

What happens when my subscription ends?

You don't need to subscribe again. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the subscription term and payment will be automatically deducted from your card for renewal of your subscription. In case of an error, insufficient balance or any other reason, you will have to manually subscribe again.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Of course! If you no longer wish to renew your current subscription, simply cancel your subscription and it will not renew at the end of the current term. There are no refunds, however. When you cancel your subscription in the middle of the subscription term, you will still have access to your account until the end of the current subscription term.

How can I become a job seeker?

No problem! To apply to jobs you need to sign up as a job seeker using a different email as your employer account. It's free to become a job seeker and apply to unlimited jobs.
